Winihin Jemide

A Lagos-based entrepreneur and leading advocate of research on women in business and government in Africa, Mrs Winihin Jemide has a professional life that spans 25 years. She is the CEO and Founder of the Winihin Jemide Series—an organization created to propel the increased participation and emergence of women in Africa.

A keen international development practitioner, Mrs Jemide has conceptualized and executed numerous intricate community development and relief projects reaching thousands of underprivileged Nigerians at a time.

In conjunction with the African Studies Center at University of Oxford, Mrs Jemide also created the Winihin Jemide Series Research Grant. The grant offers research grants to two graduate students per year who are conducting research on gender and politics in Africa.
